1. Why coach by phone?
Coaching by phone allows you to make contact from any country, any place such as an airport, or your own home or office. It saves you travelling time and allows you to fit your coaching easily into your schedule without making allowances for unseen variables.

2. What is skype?
Skype is computer to computer communication at no cost to you. It also has an optional video component. Download at www.skype.com.

3. What is a personal coach?
Sometimes the challenges at home have an adverse effect on your business. Let’s tackle the personal situations first to increase your everyday efficiency.

4. Are you a business coach?
Everybody needs support in whatever business occupies their daily life, the higher you go in the workplace the fewer people you have to talk to. Talk to me.

5. Do you have mobility challenges?
Are you waiting for joint replacements or recovering from sports injury? Using my simple tips you will be able to make better use of the mobility you have, which will make your situation easier to deal with.

6.
Are you parenting children with special needs?
Are your stress levels heightened because you are lacking support? I run both one to one coaching sessions as well as group discussions which may assist you?
I am an enormously experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist, who understands your needs and I am here to lighten your load. Try me.

7.
Would one to one coaching or group discussions meet my needs best?
One to one coaching provides personal individualized coaching which focuses on you alone, while group discussions share your expertise with others in similar situations.

8. Why do you need a coach?
Because you need on-going support in your personal and professional life to make the best use of your talents and skills, more work/life balance, less stress, and a sounding board for your ideas.

9. Do people come to coaching only because they have problems in their lives?
Not at all!
The majority of my clients come to coaching because they wish to use their talents and skills to create a better lifestyle for themselves.
In the process of creating a better lifestyle, challenges may occur, and part of the coaching process is to turn these roadblocks into the stepping-stones to success.

10.
Who benefits most from attending your 'Maximize Your Mobility' classes?
Active people who want to stay active. Among others this includes people who have had sports injuries, road traffic accidents, and joint replacements, as well as those who have all forms of arthritis and conditions like muscular dystrophy. Age groups are not a factor here, just a desire to remain actively involved in life and sporting activities.  I run both one to one coaching sessions as well as group discussions which may assist you?

11.
Is it only people who have had polio who get post polio syndrome?
Yes. Polio used to happen in international epidemics, with many people being affected with the condition at the same time. The last of these major epidemics took place in the early 1950s, after which time the Salk vaccine was made available, and polio was largely eliminated. People affected with polio showed a wide variety of symptoms, with many having paralysis of the muscle groups of the lower limb, or the respiratory muscles. Polio survivors have managed to lead relatively normal lives, many have played the sport of their choice (in my case quite badly, but not badly enough to
stop my participation!) and have managed to live successful lives with only some residual limitation of function. When post polio syndrome occurs, increased muscle weakness and muscle fatigue destroy the balance of function which has been in place for over 40 years, and create many new and un-thought of challenges known collectively as post polio syndrome.

12.
Are you moving?
I have moved many times country to country, as well as town to town and in the process have developed some check lists which will ease your challenges as you prepare to move place to place.

13.
I cannot fit your group discussions into my time schedules and think I would gain more from something tailored specifically to my needs. What else do you offer?
The majority of my clients come for one-to-one coaching. As the client you set the times of the calls to suit your schedule, and you determine the topics we talk about.  My coaching expertises include goal setting, time management, leadership, managing change, self-confidence, tricky relationships whether personal or professional and work/life balance.  The things I value most in life are the truth, positive attitudes, loyalty, laughter and independence. My coaching practice is comprised of articulate intelligent thinking people who want to use their talents and skills to create a better life style for themselves. If this sounds like you, why not contact me now?

I also send out a light-hearted seasonal newsletter, at no cost, to those who are interested. The newsletter contains snippets of travel information, usually lets you know the best restaurant I have visited, includes tips for those with mobility or other challenges in their lives, and updates other information relevant at the time.
